Daily Life at 1017 Bois D'ArcAt Assisted Residential Retirement of Texas, we want you to feel at home. The apartments all have a sitting room and bedroom, with a spacious, private bathroom featuring large, walk-in showers with safety rails. Each apartment is designed with the comfort of our residents in mind. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A unique touch is a personalized, hand-painted ceramic-tile name plaque at each door. Each resident personally furnishes their own 450 sq. ft. apartment. Residents also often add their own personal touch to their doors as well. With treasured momentos and favorite furniture, a resident's apartment becomes "home". ![]() Two large living areas, two smaller sitting rooms, a large deck and large front porch all provide plenty of community areas for socializing and visiting amongst residents and with visitors. A grand piano holds a prominent spot close to the front door. ![]() Often, a puzzle or game can be found in progress. The house mascot, Prince, is a gentle friend to all, and probably the most pampered pet in town! Unique decorations and art, in keeping with the arts and crafts architecture of the house are found throughout the residence. ![]() ![]() Delicious and nutritious meals are prepared daily with the special dietary concerns of the residents in mind, and served "family style" in the dining room. A limosine service is available for trips to the doctor, shopping and other necessities. ![]() ![]() Outside and inside, the attention is to detail. Linda Brooks, the Manager at 1017 Bois D'Arc, as well as the rest of the staff, make their top priority the comfort and well being of the residents. | ||||||
